Description

Previously known as the New Balance 3030 Pressure Relief Arch Support.

The 10 Seconds® Pressure Relief is a lightly supportive insert that can be used by any foot type and will add a comfortable layer of cushion to the shoe. The soft Plastazote® top layer uses your body’s heat to mold to the base of the foot and the deep heel cushion provides added comfort in the shoe. The metatarsal support distributes pressure and can help prevent or provide relief from Plantar Fasciitis, Morton’s Neuroma, and Metatarsalgia. Recommended for diabetics and arthritis sufferers. Ten Seconds Insoles fit in most athletic, casual, and hiking shoes that come with removable footbeds and liners . The insoles are designed to be used all day, every day, for standing, running, or any sport.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Do I need to have these heat molded to my foot?

No.  The materials used cause them to naturally form to your foot using your body's heat.

  • Are these a good insert for diabetics?

Yes, these insoles are made with Plastazote® and are great for diabetics who do not have a prescription orthotic.

  • How do you trim these if they are too long for the shoe?

Here are instructions and a diagram showing you how to trim these insoles:
How to Trim your Insoles in 4 Simple Steps

  • Which inner sole would be better for metatarsal pain, the Ultra Arch innersole or the Pressure relief with met pad?

The 10 Seconds Ultra Arch is the best for metatarsal pain if you have a high arch.  The 10 Seconds Motion Control is best for metatarsal pain if you overpronate/have a low arch.  The 10 Seconds Pressure Relief with Met Pad is good for any arch type and will help with metatarsal pain along with added cushioning and comfort.

  • Do these come in wide widths?

These are not made in a wide width.  If you order one size larger than your normal size and trim the end to fit the shoe that will usually work well for a wide width.

  • I wear New Balance shoes in size 16, 4E width. This insert comes in size 16-16.5. Will it work for the 4E width in that size?

Most likely it will work.  However there is a chance it will not be quite wide enough to completely fill the toebox and you may have a small gap. It depends on the shoe and the shape of the toebox.

  • Will this fit a 5 e shoe

In general these would not be wide enough for the width of a 5E shoe.  We have had customers order the insoles in one size larger and then trim the end to fit into a wider shoe. That has worked well for many people.  We do have a request in to the 10 Seconds company to begin manufacturing this insole in a wide width. Hopefully this will be something they will offer in the future.

  • Are these insoles good for neuropathy?

Yes, these insoles are good for neuropathy. You will want to make sure that the shoes you put them in have a roomy toebox.

  • How thick is the Pressure Relief with Met Pad?

The forefoot is 1/2" and the heel is approximately 3/8" thick. The thickness of the metatarsal pad is approximately 1/2" thick.

  • How can you tell when it’s time to replace these?

These insoles generally need to be replaced every 6 months.  You will notice they need replacing when the cushion is compressed in the arch and middle area and they do not feel as supportive.

  • How thick are these inserts at the ball of the foot and also at the heel of the foot?

These are approximately 1/4" thick in the ball of the foot area and 1/2" thick in the heel area.

  • can the 5.5-6 in womens be trimmed to a 4

Yes they can be trimmed to fit a size 4; however you will want to make sure that the arch and metatarsal pad hit the proper place in your foot.  If they are too far foward it would be best to reorderd the correct size.

  • Are these inserts good for plantar fasciitis?

Yes these insoles are known to help plantar fasciitis pain.

  • Hello how long will these last ?

This insole will generally needs to be replaced about every 6 months.  It is a softer, cushioned insole with a plastazote top cover and because of this needs to be replaced more often than other insoles.

I own 6 pairs of them they are so great.

A few years ago my running team introduced them to me. They warned me not to use inserts that have a hard backing and to only use these soft ones. I have been using them every since and they cured my awful foot problems caused by Superfeet. I don't do any athletics without them. Also have them in my hiking shoes.

Very comfortable , maybe a little too thick for some shoes

these are very comfortable shoe inserts. I put them in my sneakers , replacing the original insoles. These are MUCH more comfortable on my heel and fore foot, however they are a tad too thick and my heel feels like it’s going to slip out of my shoe sometimes. If your shoe has a higher heel cup you will be fine, but for any shoe or sneaker that is low profile , they might be too thick. I’ll probably buy the thinner model next time.

Amazing Insoles!

I am so glad I found these insoles. I have used these insoles, since they were sold at New Balance stores. I work in a retail setting, and am on my feet all day. I stand on hardwood and concrete floors. I have wide feet, and the only shoes that let me work all day, without foot pain are New Balance 1080's. I have osteoarthritis pain, and switching out their insoles for these pressure relief insoles with a metatarsal pad make my feet so happy! They provide my feet with so much comfort. I highly recommend these insoles for anyone suffering with osteoarthritis.

Pressure Relief with Met Pad

Insoles’ Pressure Relief with Met Pad inserts allow me to walk without pain even though I have fat pad atrophy - the only place on my body that NEEDS fat (the ball of my foot) has none…..! The price is reasonable enough for me to place the inserts in the shoes I use the most without needing to move them back and forth. Good stuff!

Haved these insoles in many pairs of shoes

My podiatrist demanded I use this type of insole. I have six pairs of insoles in use at this time. Like walking on air.
